Install a pressure gauge on main hydraulic system pressure tap (6) .

Install a pressure gauge on pressure tap (8) for the head end of the tilt cylinder.
Start the engine.

Record the readings from the pressure gauges. Compare the pressure gauge readings with the specifications in Tables 2 and 3. If the main relief valve setting is below the setting for the line relief valve, it will be necessary to temporarily increase the main relief valve setting. For additional information on setting the main relief valve, refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Relief Valve (Main)". If the main relief valve pressure setting is above the setting of the line relief valve, proceed to the function that is being tested.Note: Do not actuate the control lever fully for more than five seconds while the pressure is at the relief setting. Connect a pressure gauge to pressure tap (8) .
Hold the tilt control lever in the full TILT BACK position.
