Position the machine onto suitable cribbing below the first roller, as shown. Ensure that the master pin is above the center line of the sprocket.
Separate the track assembly. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track - Separate".

Remove bolts (1) which fasten sprocket (2) to the final drive.
Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to sprocket (2). Remove sprocket (2). The weight of sprocket (2) is approximately 38 kg (85 lb).Installation Procedure

B - Loctite 243 -
Thoroughly clean the mating surfaces of the sprocket and the final drive prior to installation of the sprocket.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to sprocket (2). Position sprocket (2). The weight of sprocket (2) is approximately 42 kg (93 lb).
Remove Tooling (A) and the suitable lifting device from sprocket (2).
Apply Tooling (B) to the threads of bolt (1). Install bolts (1). Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 90 15 N m (66 11 lb ft) and turn an additional angle of 30 5 degrees.

Remove Tooling (A).
Connect the track assembly. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track - Connect".
Remove the cribbing from the front roller.
