Rotate the view left - This icon allows the user to rotate the view left.

Cut and Fill
Illustration 6 g03688688The cut and fill legend is shown in the lower left corner of the screen, when viewing on-grade files only. Refer to Illustration 6 for an example. The "Cut", "Ongrade", "Fill", and Mined colors are the same as those colors used for 2D files, and are taken from the settings on "Manage Site Settings", "Terrain (Grading and Loading)".Illustration 6 shows the legend a small sample of an on-grade file. Illustration 6 shows the area still to cut, on-grade area and filled area. Also, shows missing coverage areas, which are blank areas in the file where there is no current elevation for those particular areas of the file. These calculations include the material that exists, ignoring the tolerance limits.Elevation
When viewing an elevation design, current elevation time, or original ground file, the user is able to view the minimum and maximum elevations, and which colors are associated with the different levels of elevation by clicking the "Show Legend" button on the toolbar.

The user can hover the mouse over the area to see what the elevation actually is. Refer to "Northing, Easting, and Elevation".Displaying Different Files in 3D
Note: The user is not able to perform the following functions in 3D mode:View Drill (.aqm) and Dragline (.dxf) files in 3D, Use GPS Playback and View machines or the machine locations.Perform the following procedure to display different files in 3D:
In the "Control Center", click "Manage and Transfer" files.
Open the file selected to view. If the user wants to include the site model files (on-grade progress and current elevation, and/or original elevation in the 3D view), select the files in the 2D view first.
On the toolbar, click the Show 3D View icon. Layers dialog displays showing the 2D files that are open and are supportable in 3D. If files have been selected that are not available in that view, a message displays informing the user.
Select the files to display in 3D and click "OK". The office software processes the files, and opens the 3D view in a new tab. Once the file is loaded, the user is able to look around
