(6) Install 2P7211 Tee (14) and seal to valve (11) and install 5P3165 Tee (15) to tee (14). Install cap (17). Connect 3V4657 Hose (16) to tee (15). Install 3P1427 Connector (18), 3R9704 Elbow (19) and the 3D2824 Seal in pilot filter (10). Connect the loose end of hose (16) to elbow (19). (7) Remove plug (20); install elbow (21) and the seal. Connect 3V4656 Hose (22) between elbow (21) and elbow (6). Connect 3V4653 Hose (23) between tee (14) and elbow (7). Fasten each hose to the existing tubes with one 7K1181 Strap. (8) Connect 3V4654 Hose (24) to elbow (4) and 3V4655 Hose (25) to elbow (5). Put hoses in position (A) for one piece boom and position (B) for two piece boom. Connect hoses (24) and (25) to the unions on the boom lines.Electric Hand Control Group
(1) Remove handles (1) and panels (2). (2) Install adapter (3), handle (4) and screw (5) to levers (6) and (7). Install 3V1963 Wire Assembly in lever (6) and 3V1964 Wire Assembly in lever (7). Connect the wires to switch (8), install the switch in handle (4) and install cover (9) and the screw. (3) Connect 3V1964 and 3V1963 Wire Assemblies to existing connectors (10). (4) Fasten the female connectors of 3V4673 Wire Assembly (11) to the bottom solenoid with purple/yellow wire and the white/yellow wire to the top solenoid. Fasten the dual connector at the other end to the existing connector (12). Fasten the wire assembly to the existing line with strap (13). Install panels (2) and 3V4677 Film (14) and 3V4678 Film (15).Clamshell Bucket And Lines
(1) Install clamshell assembly (1) to the stick with the same washers, pin, bar, bolts and lockwashers used for the hoe bucket. (2) Weld the bottom half (2) of the clamp on both sides, to swivel (3) with .06" (1.5) square groove welds, at the dimension shown. (3) Remove the covers from the rotator and cylinder openings. Fasten hoses (4) and (5) together with two clips, nut, washer and bolt. (4) Install connectors and elbows (6) to the rotator and connect hoses (4) and (5) to the elbows. Fasten the hoses with clamp (7). (5) Connect hoses (8) and (9) that were installed earlier, to the cylinder with flanges, seals, bolts and lockwashers. (6) Remove blocks (10) that were installed earlier. (7) Check the hydraulic oil level, start the engine and operate the machine. If necessary, release any air from the hydraulic system at the locations shown. Check for leaks. (8) Install guards (11) and (12) with washers, lockwashers and bolts.Extension Group (A)
(1) Lower the fully open clamshell bucket to level ground, and shut off the engine. Release any hydraulic oil pressure at screws (1). Install blocks in the bucket cylinder lines (2).
Make sure that the bucket is in a firm position on the ground, and that the linkage cannot move from the vertical position after the swivel is disconnected.
