2 1 8T-6974 Bolt Before assembly, apply blue Loctite 242 to the threads.
Torque to 3.5 0.5 N m (31.0 4.4 lb in).
3 1 379-1084 Window Wiper Motor Gp Use the following procedure to install wiper motor:
1. Torque to 23 2 N m (204 18 lb in).
2. Wait minimum 0.5 hours to maximum 4 hours.
3. Again tighten to 23 2 N m (204 18 lb in).
4 1 5C-2890 Nut Torque to 3.5 0.5 N m (31.0 4.4 lb in).
Tighten nut up to non-threaded shank of bolt.
5 4 6V-7357 Bolt Torque to 12 to 14 N m (106 to 124 lb in).
6 3 8T-2192 Bolt Torque to 5.5 0.5 N m (48.7 4.4 lb in).
7 9X-2040 Screw Before assembly, apply blue Loctite 242 to the threads.
Torque to 5 1 N m (44 9 lb in).
8 379-6471 Window Wiper Arm Gp Use the following procedure to install wiper arm:
1. Torque to 23 2 N m (204 18 lb in).
2. Wait minimum 0.5 hours to maximum 4 hours.
3. Again tighten to 23 2 N m (204 18 lb in).
9 - 386-6028 Seal As required, apply Loctite 593to the joint ends and trim away any excess glue at ends. Assemble such that the beam end behind the upper hinge.
