Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the exhaust pipe.
Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the work tools have been lowered to the ground, and the oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.
Drain the hydraulic oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

Cut cable straps (1) and (4).
Disconnect harness assembly (2) (not shown).
Disconnect harness assembly (3) and two harness assemblies (5).

Disconnect three hose assemblies (6).
Disconnect three hose assemblies (7).
Disconnect three hose assemblies (8).

Attach a suitable lifting device to piston pump (propel) (10). The weight of piston pump (propel) (10) is approximately 91 kg (200 lb).
Remove two bolts (9) and piston pump (propel) (10).Installation Procedure
Install piston pump (propel) (10) in the reverse order of removal.
