Drive the machine to a smooth, horizontal surface.

Move propel lever (1) to the NEUTRAL position.
Move parking brake switch (2) to the ON position.

Use throttle control switch (3) to operate the engine in ECO mode or in low idle.Note: Two things indicate when the engine is in ECO mode. First, "ECO" will appear on the display. Second, the second LED next to throttle control switch (3) will be illuminated. Two things indicate when the engine is at low idle. First, "Low Idle" will appear on the display. Second, the first LED next to the throttle control switch will be illuminated.

Move engine start switch (4) to the OFF position.
Assemble the tooling. Connect Tool (B) to Tool (A). Connect Tool (C) to Tool (B).

Connect Tool (C) to charge pressure tap (5).
Assemble the tooling. Assemble Tool (E). Assemble Tool (F). Attach Tool (F) to Tool (E) so the straight fitting is connected to the inlet side of the flowmeter.

Loosen clamp (7) on vibratory case drain hose (8) at the pump. Remove the vibratory case drain hose from elbow (6).Note: This hose assembly is connected to the charge inlet port on the vibratory pump.
Install Tool (G), on the inlet side of Tool (E), to elbow (8). Secure Tool (G) to elbow with Tool (H).
Install Tool (F) installed in Tool (G) on the outlet side of Tool (E) to vibratory case drain hose (8). Secure Tool (F) to case drain hose with Tool (H).
Move engine start switch (4) to the START position. Release the switch when the engine starts.
Operate the engine at low idle.
Monitor the hydraulic oil temperature with Tool (D). Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches 38 °C (100 °F).
Read the pressure on Tool (A). The pressure should be 2500 200 kPa (363 29 psi).
Operate the engine at low idle for a few minutes. Depress throttle control switch (3) to operate the engine in high idle.Note: Two things indicate when the engine is at high idle. First, "High Idle" will appear on the display. Second, the third LED next to throttle control switch (3) will be illuminated.
Read the flow on Tool (E). The flow should be 12.3 L/min (3.25 US gpm).
Use throttle control switch (3) to operate the engine in low idle.Note: Two things indicate when the engine is at low idle. First, "Low Idle" will appear on the display. Second, first LED (8) next to the throttle control switch will be illuminated. Low idle is 1200 rpm.
Move engine start switch (4) to the OFF position.
