Cylinders equipped with lock valves can remain pressurized for very long periods of time, even with the hoses removed.Failure to relieve pressure before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder can result in personal injury or death.Ensure all pressure is relieved before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder.

Attach a suitable lifting device to ripper tilt cylinder (1) . The weight of the ripper tilt cylinder is approximately 113 kg (250 lb). Install ripper tilt cylinder (1) .

Install pin (4) , and bolt (3) to the head end of the ripper tilt cylinder.
Start the machine. Fully extend the tilt cylinder.

Install pin assembly (6) , the plate, and bolts (5) to the rod end of the ripper tilt cylinder.

Connect hose assemblies (2) .
