Information:
start by: a) remove track carrier rollers (rear)b) separation of track Make sure the track roller frame is approximately 21 in. (53.3 cm) off the floor. 1. Install tooling (A) under the front support and the drawbar.
Use tooling (B) as a support for only the counterweight frame assembly.
2. Remove guards (1) and (2). 3. Remove both guards (3) from the yoke assembly. Install 1/2"-13 NC forged eyebolts in the yoke assembly. 4. Remove four bolts (4). Remove the shims from between the front support and the track roller frame. 5. Remove plates (5). 6. Remove bracket (6) and shims. Weight is 65 lb. (29.5 kg).7. Fasten a hoist to the eyebolts on the front of the track roller frame as shown. 8. Remove the bolts (8) and nuts that hold the track roller frame to the counterweight frame assembly. On the left track roller frame, remove the bolts and nuts that hold the track roller frame to the frame for the boom.9. Remove bolts (7) that hold the track roller frame to the front support.10. Lower the front of the track roller frame on to the track. 11. Install a 7/8"-9NC forged eyebolt (10) and a hoist.12. Remove cap (9) and shims. Lower the rear of the track roller frame on to the track. Weight of the track roller frame is 8500 lb. (3855.6 kg).Install Track Roller Frames
1. Use a hoist to put the track roller frame assembly in position on support. (1). 2. Install cap (2) without shims. Tighten the rear bolt to a torque of 1200 100 lb.ft. (1627.0 135.6 N m). On the left side of the machine, tighten the front bolt first.3. Tighten the other bolt to a torque of 1200 100 lb.ft. (1627.0 135.6 N m). Measure the clearance between cap (2) and the track roller frame at the bolt. Remove the bolt on the clearance side of the cap and install shims to equal the gap plus .005 to .008 in. (0.13 to 0.20 mm). Install the bolt which was removed. Tighten it to a torque of 1200 100 lb.ft. (1627.0 135.6 N m). 4. Use a hoist to put the front of the roller frame in position. 5. Install bolts (3) but do not tighten.6. Install shims (4) between the track roller frame and front support. Install shims until the distance measured between the track roller frames at the points on the front and rear of the machine is different by no more than .12 in. (3.0 mm).7. Tighten bolts (3). Remove the hoist and forged eyebolts.8. Install the bolts and nuts that hold the counterweight frame to the track roller frame. On the left track roller frame, install the bolts that hold the track roller frame to the frame for the boom. 9. Remove the forged eyebolt. Use shims (6), as necessary, to put the bolt holes in the bracket assembly in alignment with the bolt holes in the bevel gear case. Install bracket

Lower the front of the track roller frame on to the track. 11. Install a 7/8"-9NC forged eyebolt (10) and a hoist.12. Remove cap (9) and shims. Lower the rear of the track roller frame on to the track. Weight of the track roller frame is 8500 lb. (3855.6 kg).Install Track Roller Frames

Install bolts (3) but do not tighten.6. Install shims (4) between the track roller frame and front support. Install shims until the distance measured between the track roller frames at the points on the front and rear of the machine is different by no more than .12 in. (3.0 mm).7. Tighten bolts (3). Remove the hoist and forged eyebolts.8. Install the bolts and nuts that hold the counterweight frame to the track roller frame. On the left track roller frame, install the bolts that hold the track roller frame to the frame for the boom. 9. Remove the forged eyebolt. Use shims (6), as necessary, to put the bolt holes in the bracket assembly in alignment with the bolt holes in the bevel gear case. Install bracket
