The piston bodies listed in the chart do not include piston rings. Part numbers for piston rings are: * 6I-0497 Piston Oil Ring* 2W-1708 Piston Intermediate Ring * 2W-1707 Piston Top Ring
Both the 15.0 : 1 and 16.0 : 1 compression ratio pistons use the same piston rings.
The new pistons and oil rings were effective with 3304B (1PS00625-Up); 3306B (1CZ01219-Up, 1RS00630-Up, 8JJ00512-Up, 85Z14469-Up, 9NR03283-Up). The new pistons with 4 mm wide oil rings are adaptable to all 3304, 3304B, 3306, and 3306B generator set engines. The 4 mm wide oil ring has been used on the 3306C On-Highway Truck Engine for several years.
