PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your WarrantyBulletin on warranty parts handling.Attach. (1-Rework Procedure)Rework Procedure
Remove exhaust heat shield section surroundingthe bellow balance tube at the front of the engine.
Remove the 4 x 9L7373 Bolts, 4 x 3E6916 Nuts,and 8 x 1108314 Washers that retain the old bellow balance tube components.
Remove the 1 x 2224704 bellow balance tube and2 x 1230319 Seal O-rings.
Clean the sealing surfaces of the exhaust manifoldmating surfaces.
Install new 1230319 Seal O-rings.
Install new 2722498 Bellow As.
Install new 9L7373 Bolts, 3E6916 Nuts, and 1108314Washers.
Start the engine and inspect joints to ensurethere are no exhaust leaks.
Shut down the engine and install the exhaust heatshield that was removed in step 1.
