Install link assembly (24) to blade (21) and arm assembly (A) by using two pins (25) and two cotter pins (23).Note: Cotter pins (23) are installed on the right side only.

Install brace assembly (9) to blade (21) with cap (7), shims (6), four bolts (15), and four nuts (17). Torque bolts (15) to 520 70 N m (383 50 lb ft). For instructions on shimming, refer to "Procedure for Shimming".

Install the other end of brace assembly (9) to left push arm (3) by using pin (12), pin (1), and cotter pin (11).

Connect hose assemblies (29) and (30) to cylinder (8) by using seals (36), flanges (42), bolts (46), and washers (43).

Install guard assembly (31) to cylinder (8) by using two washers (47), two bolts (44), two washers (44), and two bolts (47).

Install cylinder (8) to bulldozer blade (21) with cap (7), shims (6), four bolts (13), and four nuts (20). For instructions on shimming, refer to "Procedure for Shimming". Torque bolts (13) to 520 70 N m (383 50 lb ft).

Install cylinder (8) to right push arm (4) by using pin (12), pin (1), and cotter pin (11).

Measure the height from the ground to the center of trunnion assembly on the roller frame.
Raise frame assembly (A) to the height that was measured in Step 12. Support frame assembly (A) with wood blocks.
Move the machine between the push arms of frame assembly (A). Stop the engine.

On each side, install cap (10) on frame assembly (A) with shims (5), two bolts (19), and two nuts (17). For instructions on shimming, refer to "Procedure for Shimming". Torque bolts (19) to 520 70 N m (383 50 lb ft).

Install two elbows (33) to bulldozer blade (21) with two nuts (40).

Connect hose (30) to the top elbow on the blade.
Connect hose (29) to the bottom elbow on the blade.
Connect hose (27) and hose (28) to the elbows on the blade.
Install cover (32) using two rubbers (26), three washers (34), three nuts (35), three studs (41), and three washers (47).
Connect hose assembly (27) and hose assembly (28) to the ports on the radiator housing.
Pull hose assembly (27) and hose assembly (28) to the left side of the machine to remove slack.
Personal injury or death can result if the lift cylinder is not secured when the lift cylinder is being attached to the blade or detached from the blade. The lift cylinders can rotate freely rearward when the cylinder rod is retracted.Secure the lift cylinder until the cylinder rod is extended in order to prevent the lift cylinder from rotating rearward.

Connect the lift cylinders to bulldozer blade (21) with a cap, shims, four bolts, and four nuts. For instructions on shimming, refer to "Procedure for Shimming". Note: Items that are not numbered are part of the lift cylinder group.
