PRODUCT SUPPORT PROGRAM FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A STRONGER WATER PUMP COVER ON 621B AND 623B TRACTORS, 1373, 1361, PS4014 U-70 A-37 AU-56 C-56 B-16 E-44 O-42 This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the warranty allowances will be the same and contingent damage will not be allowed. The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS4014" as Part Number and "7755" as Group Number. Termination Date
August 31, 1986.
Problem
The 4N2696 Water Pump Covers on 621B and 623B Tractors can develop cracks in the mounting area for the 4N2713 Belt Tightener Group which uses the 8N5827 Shock Absorber Assembly. A new water pump cover is now used in production. The new cover has three additional gussets around the mounting pad for the shock absorber.

1-7W7676 Cover (water pump) 1-4N2695 Gasket
Action Required
The purpose of this program is to provide support for the affected product either before or after a failure of the 4N2696 Cover. When the new 7W7676 Cover is installed, install a new 4N2695 Gasket. WARRANTY ALLOWANCES (SEE ILLUSTRATION) This is a 1 hour job.
Parts Disposition
The 4N2696 Cover is also used on 16G Motor Graders. There have been no problems with the use of the 4N2696 Cover on 16G Motor Graders. Dealers should exhaust any of their parts stock of these covers on the motor graders. Dispose of the parts removed from any of the affected product in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
