Hot oil and components can cause personal injury.Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.
Accumulated grease and oil on a machine is a fire hazard. Remove this debris with steam cleaning or high pressure water, at least every 1000 hours or each time any significant quantity of oil is spilled on a machine.
Note: For maximum service life of the platform, make a thorough daily inspection before you operate the platform. Before you operate the Access Platform perform the daily inspections for the Telehandler. For more information about the maintenance procedures of the Telehandler, read the Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7600, "TH350B, TH355B, TH360B, and TH460B Telehandlers", Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7707, "TH560B Telehandlers", and Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU7709, "TH580B Telehandlers" before operating the Access Platform.
Remove any debris from the platform and the carriage.
Check the structural condition of the platform.
Check the condition of the handrails.
If the platform is equipped with hydraulic lines, inspect the hydraulic lines for leaks.
Check the condition of the hydraulic connections.
Ensure that all guards, covers, and caps are secured.
Inspect all hoses and electrical wires for damage.
Inspect all electrical connectors for damage.
Check the condition of the controls and the indicators.
Check the condition of the lanyards, attachment points and all other safety instruments.
Repair all of the faulty systems.
Replace all of the faulty parts.
Check the systems in order to make sure that the systems have been repaired correctly.
Make the needed repairs before you operate the machine.
If an Emergency Lowering Kit is equipped with the machine, ensure that the jumper cables are accessible. Make sure that there is sufficient space in order to access this area of the machine.
After any maintenance, check the functionality of the machine and platform at a low height prior to use.Refer to the Maintenance Section for the detailed procedures. Refer to the Maintenance Interval Schedule for a complete list of scheduled maintenance.
