Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Engine Oil and Filter - Change" for the proper draining and filling procedures.

Disconnect harness assemblies (1) from pressure sensors (2). Position the harness assemblies out of the way.
Remove pressure sensors (2).
Use Tooling (A) to remove oil filters (3) and seals.

Remove 10 mounting bolts (4). Remove engine oil filter base (5) and O-ring seals.

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Remove bolts (11) and washers (10).
Remove cover (9), gasket (8), and springs (7).
Remove valves (6).

Remove hollow studs (12).Installation Procedure
Install filter base (5) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply Tooling (B) to the threads of hollow studs (12). Tighten to 80 14 N m (59 10 lb ft).
Install new O-ring seals for filter base.
Lubricate all seals for oil filters (3) with clean engine oil.
Once oil filters (3) are seated against the base, tighten an additional 3/4 turn.
Lubricate the bore for pressure sensors (2) with clean engine oil. Tighten to 10 2 N m (89 18 lb in).
