Installation Procedure
Perform the following procedure to help prevent excessive ESD around the 357-0663 Relief Valve As.Only perform the following procedure if the machine is consistently operating in ambient temperatures below 0° C (32° F).Report the implementation of the solution that is identified below in a Dealer Work Order and attach photographs of the installation in Service Information Management System (SIMSi).The solution consists of two separate parts:
Block the lower section of the cooling compartment door to reduce the exposure of the relief valve to the dusty air flow.
Use of conductive tape to ground the fuel relief valve and drain the static charges on the surface of the valve.

Remove Bolts (8).
Ensure that there is a good ground path between Bracket (7) and the mounting point of the bracket. If necessary, remove paint.Note: Do not use solvents to remove the paint.
Install Bracket (7) and Bolts (8). Tighten Bolts (8) to a torque of 55 N m (41 lb ft).
Remove Bolt (5).
Inspect the body of Valve (4) for damage to the paint finish. Refer to Illustration 4.
If the fuel system relief valve is leaking, install a new 383-3462 Fuel Line (6).If the fuel system relief valve is not leaking, remove the paint from Area (Z).Note: Do not use solvents to remove the paint.
