3500 Family Of EnginesDescription of Change: New water seals are used in the cylinder head groups and new seal assemblies and o-ring seals are used in the insert kit. The new seals and seal assemblies are made from a different material than the former seals and seal assemblies. The new seals and seal assemblies provide improved sealing ability and increased service life. The new water seals and seal assemblies are black in color and the seals they replace were gray in color. Earlier water seals were white or orange in color. The new o-ring seals are made from a different material to provide improved service life. The former o-ring seals were yellow in color and the new o-ring seals are blue.

The former water seal assemblies are canceled. The new 9X7409 and 9X7410 O-Ring Seals are direct replacements for the former 7X4799 and 7X4800 O-Ring Seals respectively in the 7E2865 Insert Kit.
