1 LABEL RATING LABEL
In order to allow equitable parts availability to all participating dealers, please limit your initial parts order to not exceed 45% of dealership population. This is an initial order recommendation only, and the ultimate responsibility for ordering the total number of parts needed to satisfy the program lies with the dealer.
ACTION REQUIRED
Order a new rating label and replace the existing label with the new label when the new label is received.
Ordering a new label:
A new rating label can be obtained by sending an e-mail to CPI with the following information:
1. Generator Set Serial Number
2. Engine Serial Number
3. Generator Serial Number
4. Mailing address for new rating label
Installation of a new rating label:
1. Isolate the generator set before commencing any work on the unit, open generator set breaker, activate Emergency Stop, and disconnect the battery cables. Ensure all health and safety requirements are adhered to at all times. Also, ensure proper Lock Out-Tag Out procedures are followed at all times while work is being performed on the machine. Lock out generator before commencing any type of work.
Only qualified repair personnel should service this equipment.
2. Remove the old rating label from its location on the generator set.
3. Clean the surface, ensuring that is clean and free from dust.
4. Remove the backing from the new rating label and apply to the generator set.
5. Remove the backing from the clear film and apply over the new rating label on the generator set.
