Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Position a new gasket on the cylinder block.
Use a suitable lifting device to position front housing (12) on the cylinder block. The weight of the front housing is approximately 39 kg (85 lb). Install bolts (11), nut (10), and bolts (13).

Apply clean engine oil or glycerin on the O-ring seal for bonnet (9). Install bonnet (9) in the engine oil cooler.
Use a new gasket and position tube assembly (7) on bonnet (9). Install bolts (8).
Install bolt (6).

Connect tube assembly (5).
Connect tube assembly (4).

Position gear (3) on the hydraulic pump drive. Install retainer plate (2) with bolts (1). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 135 20 N m (100 15 lb ft). End By:
Install the front cover. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Front Cover - Install".
Install the alternator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Alternator - Remove and Install".
Install the water pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Water Pump - Install".
Install the auxiliary water pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Auxiliary Water Pump - Install".
Install the engine front support. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Support (Front) - Remove and Install".
