B 313-2527 Driver Assembly 1 Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.
Lubricate all parts, threads, and the inside of the tube with hydraulic oil.

Install bands (7). Install backing rings (6). Install O-ring seals (8). Install piston (9) in the tube. Make sure that the end of piston (9) that looks like a cup is facing toward the top of the tube.

Install O-ring seal (5) and backup ring (4) into head (3). Repeat for opposite side. Install head (3) to the top of the tube. Install the piston until the piston makes contact with head (3) that is located at the top of the tube. Make sure that all parts are lubricated on the remaining head (3). Install remaining head (3). Use Tooling (B) in order to tighten heads (3) to a torque of 300 N m (221 lb ft).

Install valve (1). Install guard (2) into head (3). Charge the accumulator. Refer to Testing and Adjusting Manual, " Brake Accumulator - Test and Charge ". End By:
Install the ride control accumulator. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly , "Ride Control Accumulator - Install".
