(7) Ride Control Accumulator - Low PressureThe ride control valve block (1) is bolted to the front of the implement control valve (2) and is located in the front loader frame. The ride control balance valve solenoid (3) is mounted to the ride control valve block. The ride control activation solenoid (4) is mounted to the implement valve and the ride control activation spool (5) is located in the implement valve. The ride control accumulators (6, 7) are charged with dry nitrogen and mounted to the inside of the right front frame. The machine is equipped with a low and high pressure accumulator to optimize the ride performance for empty and loaded buckets. It is important to maintain a delta between the two accumulators to achieve optimum performance. See Illustrations 1 and 2.The components of the ride control system:

(7) Ride Control SwitchTo enable the automatic mode for the ride control system, Press the ride control switch (7). The middle light will be illuminated when the ride control system is in automatic mode. Press the ride control switch again to disable the automatic mode for the ride control system.Note: The ride control system will remember the mode the next time the machine is started.Ride Control (Not Activated)
Illustration 4 g06012827Illustration 4 shows the implement hydraulic system with ride control in AUTO.When the ride control system is in AUTO and the machine is below the configured ground speed, the Implement ECM de-energizes the ride control solenoid (4). Oil on the left side of the ride control valve (5) is directed to the hydraulic tank (14). The ride control valve is moved to the left with spring force. The ride control valve blocks the oil between the rod end of the lift cylinders (13) and the hydraulic tank. The ride control valve also blocks the oil between the head end of the lift cylinders and the ride control accumulators (6).When the balance valve solenoid (3) is energized, oil on the right side of the balance valve (12) is directed to the tank and the blocked oil on the left side of the balance valve is above the tank pressure on the right side of the balance valve. The balance valve shifts to the right and oil in the accumulator port flows through the ride control valve and is directed to the left side of the flow control valve (9). The flow control valve shifts to the right and the accumulator oil is blocked by the flow control valve. The check valve (15) blocks all oil and any spikes from flowing back to the
