Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to transmission planetary (4) .
Use Tooling (A) and the suitable lifting device in order to position transmission planetary (4) on the output transfer gear case. The weight of the transmission planetary (4) is approximately 545 kg (1200 lb).
Install O-ring seal (3) .

Install bolts (5) which hold the transmission planetary (4) to output transfer gear case (7) .
Connect harness assembly (8). Connect harness assemblies (6) .
Remove Tooling (A) and the suitable lifting device from transmission planetary (4) .

Install drain tube assembly (2) and bolts (1) .End By: Connect the torque converter to the transmission. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Torque Converter to Transmission, Output Transfer Gears - Connect".
