--------------- END SUPPLEMENT ---------------Description of Change: A new valve lash adjusting tool group has been released for accurately setting valve lash. This new tool group has been released for all 3500 Gas and Diesel Engines listed above. This tool group allows for valve bridge adjustment without removing the rocker arm. This tool group also permits setting the valve lash without removal of the fuel lines on the diesel engines and the spark plug well tube on the gas engines.Adaptable To: A new 147-5482 Valve Lash Gauge Group has been released for all 3500 Gas and Diesel Engines listed above. The new 147-5482 Valve Lash Gauge Group includes the following parts listed in Chart A. The 147-2056 Dial Indicator (inch) or the 147-5537 Dial Indicator (metric) is needed. Additional tooling that is recommended but is not required are: 147-2060 Socket Wrench and 147-2059 Torque Wrench. Special Instruction REHS0128-00 is included in the gauge group.
