1 6 274-7701 Bolt Use the following procedure in order to tighten the bolts:
1. Before assembly, apply clean engine oil to the threads of the bolts.
2. Hand tighten bolt 1 through bolt 6 to a maximum torque of 15 N m (133 lb in).
3. Tighten bolt 1 through bolt 6 in the numerical sequence as shown in Illustration 1 to 100 10 N m (74 7 lb ft) .
4. Again, tighten bolt 1 through bolt 6 in the numerical sequence as shown in Illustration 1 to 250 15 N m (184 11 lb ft) .
5. Again, turn bolt 1 through bolt 6 in the numerical sequence as shown in Illustration 1 to 180 5 degrees.

2 2 300-3142 Valve Seat Insert During installation, shrunk the valve seat insert. Press the insert into the cylinder head counterbore. Do not hammer the valve seat insert. Before assembly, apply green Loctite 620.
3 2 300-3143 Valve Seat Insert During installation, shrunk the valve seat insert. Press the insert into the cylinder head counterbore. Do not hammer the valve seat insert. Before assembly, apply green Loctite 620.
4 8 8M-5860 Cup Plug Before assembly, apply Loctite 540 to the bore.
Installation depth (G) is 0.75 0.25 mm (0.030 0.010 inch).
5 1 298-5347 Injector Sleeve Before assembly, apply Loctite C5A copper anti-seize to the threads.
Torque to 120 10 N m (89 7 lb ft).
6 7 300-4048 Cup Plug Before assembly, apply Loctite 540 to the bore.
Installation depth (F) is 0.75 0.25 mm (0.030 0.010 inch).
7 5 8M-5860 Cup Plug Before assembly, apply Loctite 540 to the bore.
Installation depth (H) is 1.00 0.25 mm (0.039 0.010 inch).
8 2 247-1074 O-Ring Seal Before assembly, lubricate the bore lightly with clean engine oil.
