(1)Radiator
Always inspect cooling system with engine stopped.Remove filler cap slowly to relieve pressure. Steam can cause personal injury.Do not allow corrosion inhibitor, which contains alkali, to contact skin or eyes.
1. Observe coolant level with engine stopped. Remove radiator cap slowly to relieve pressure. 2. Maintain coolant level to within 1/2 inch (1 cm) of bottom of fill pipe. 3. Inspect filler cap gasket and replace if damaged. Install cap.(2)Precleaner
Cup-type
1. Inspect cups visually. Cups should be emptied whenever dirt reaches indicator mark. 2. Loosen wing nuts. Remove covers and cups.3. Empty cups and tap covers lightly to remove loose dirt. 4. Install cups and covers. 5. Periodically wash entire precleaner in water.Multitube-type
1. Remove rain cap and screen. Inspect screen for accumulation of dust and debris.
When using pressure air wear protective face shield and protective clothing. Maximum air pressure must be below 30 psi (205 kPa) for cleaning purposes.
2. Clean parts with compressed air or wash in warm water. Dry all parts and install.(3)Engine Crankcase
1. Measure oil level with machine level, blade lowered with slight down pressure and parking brake applied. 2. Level can be measured with engine stopped or engine running and oil warm. 3. With engine running, level should be between FULL and ADD marks on ENGINE RUNNING side of dipstick. 4. With engine stopped, level should be in SAFE STARTING RANGE on ENGINE STOPPED side of dipstick.(4)Fuel Tank
Open fuel tank drain valve. Allow water and sediment to drain. Close drain valve.
