Lubricate the new O-ring seals and both sides of thrust washer (21) with clean engine oil. Install the O-ring seals onto the sealing plate. Position the sealing plate, adapter (22), and thrust washer (21). Install bolts (20). Ensure that the O-ring seals remain in position on sealing plate during installation.

Torque Sequence
Position camshaft gear (19) and install bolts (18).
Tighten bolts (18) to a torque of 240 40 N m (177 30 lb ft). Tighten the bolts in the following sequence: 1, 4, 2, 5, 3, 6, 1, 4.

Lubricate the new O-ring seals with clean engine oil. Install new O-ring seals and sealing plate (15). Install bolts (14). Install adapter (16). Ensure that the O-ring seals remain in position on sealing plate (15) during installation.

Torque Sequence
Position damper (13) and install bolts (12). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 240 40 N m (177 30 lb ft). Tighten the bolts in the following sequence: 1, 4, 2, 5, 3, 6, 1, 4.
