Loosen hose clamp (2) .

Loosen hose clamp (3) and remove the hose.

Remove bolt (4) .

Fasten a suitable lifting device and Tool (A) to the exhaust manifold. The exhaust manifold weighs approximately 40 kg (87 lb).
Remove fifteen bolts (5) from exhaust manifold (6) .

Remove gasket (7) and exhaust manifold (6) from the cylinder block.Installation Procedure

Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Inspect the condition of the gasket. Replace the gasket, if necessary.

Position gasket (7) and exhaust manifold (6) on the cylinder block.

Install bolts (5) that fasten exhaust manifold (6) to the cylinder head.

Tighten bolts 1 through 12 in a numerical sequence. Tighten bolts 1 through 12 to a torque of 4 1 N m (35 9 lb in).
Tighten bolts 1 through 12 in a numerical sequence. Tighten bolts 1 through 12 to a torque of 55 5 N m (41 4 lb ft).

Install the turbocharger. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Turbocharger - Install".
Install the water temperature regulator housing. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Water Temperature Regulator - Remove and Install".
Install the heat exchanger. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Heat Exchanger - Install".
