CHECK FOR SEALANT GAPS IN CAB SHEETMETAL
1. Inspect for missing sealant in sheetmetal joints on front of Cab. Use light inside of fresh air filter opening and outside inspect seal joint for gap in sealant.
This area of the cab is under Blower Motor low pressure(vacuum)and must be sealed to avoid pulling of Evaporator with dirt/mud.
2. Apply Loctite-Black RTV Sealant to gap in caulking. Refer to Image 1.12.1

NEW HVAC COVER SEALS
1. Observe seal routing, remove all seals for HVAC Side Cover on Both Sides. Refer to Image 1.13.1

2. Cut quantity of 2 pcs each length of 201-4066 Seal in length (A)of 245 mm(9.6"), and length(B) of 695 mm(27.4").
3. Install 201-4066 Seal qty of 1 each length (A) and (B) on both sides. see image 1.12.1.
4. Install 5P-5639 Seal(C) on both sides starting at top front, and route seal as close as possible to ends of 201-4066, and follow routing of seal removed.
5. Cut 5P-5639 Seal to length(D)and install as shown. Refer to Image 1.14.1
6. Apply Loctite Black RTV Sealant to all seal joints to eliminate gaps for dirt by-pass. Refer to Image 1.14.2

INSTALL HAVC SIDE COVER ASSEMBLIES
Group 1 machines
1. Install new 368-4417(RH) and 368-4418(LH) Cover As. with new 7X-7729 Washers.
Group 2 and 3 machines
1. Cover assemblies removed may need to be modified to eliminate interference between Cover As. and weld on cab assembly. Refer to Image 1.15.1
2. Fitup Cover As. on both sides and determine if interference with Cover As. and Cab exist.
3. Cover As. does not have interference skip to Step 6.
4. Rework Cover As. to remove interference by grinding material from Cover As. Refer to Image 1.15.2
5. Paint edge of Cover As. with black paint.
6. Install 368-4417(RH) and 368-4418(LH) Cover As. with new 7X-7729 Washers.

CAB DOOR SEALS REWORK
For Group 2 & 3 machines proceed to "INSTALL NEW CAB FILTERS" rework procedure.
For Group 1 ONLY ... Check to see if door seal is on Cab door frame:
- IF Yes, Perform the rework procedure for cab door seals to be install on the cab frame instead of the door frame, Step 1 through Step 7 below.
- IF No, the cab door seals are already on the cab frame, go to "INSTALL NEW CAB FILTERS" rework procedure.
1. Remove the seal from the doors, and clean the sealing surface with
isopropyl alcohol.
2. Cut 2 pieces of seal slightly longer than the required lengths of
211.5 cm (6.9 foot) and 194.5 cm (6.3 foot) from 133-3234 Seal-bulk.
3. Locate the side of seal with the small diameter extruded hole, this
side of seal will be the outside of the cab door seal. Refer to Image 1.16.1
Clean the cab door opening area for seal with isopropyl alcohol.
4. Install the seal to the cab. Refer to Image 1.16.2 as a guide for seal
placement.
Note: 194.5 cm (6.3 foot) length of seal starts at the miter at top rear
(hinge side) of door the opening.
5. After installing the seals and checking for proper sealing, miter the
ends of seal at 45 degree angle.
6. Bond the miter ends together using sealant/caulk. Refer to
