Note: Ensure that the torque converter ratio is in range before starting the calibration procedure. The calibration is aborted if the torque converter speed is high, low, or unstable.This procedure is for completing transmission clutch fill calibrations. The ECPC valves are calibrated to adjust for variability between valves, current drivers, and other system variables. The calibration sets the value of the current command for the hold level and the ramp level pressure command. The set values fill the clutch at the desired time and with a soft touch-up. The calibration is performed on each of the five clutches in succession. The calibration of the hold level is set to achieve the soft touch-up of the clutch and the ramp level sets the desired fill time.The FNR must be in neutral for the calibration to neutralize. After initialization, the EMSIII screen will show 0s scrolling across the screen. At that point, move the FNR to forward. This action will cause 1s to scroll across the screen indicating the first clutch calibration has initiated.
