Disconnect tank overflow hoses at 2 locations shown in Image 1.3.1.

Disconnect fittings at 2 locations shown in Image 1.4.1.

Remove expansion tank by removing 3 bolts on each side as shown in Image 1.5.1. To reassemble, tighten bolt to 110 ft-lbs.

The existing line shown in green on the schematic will need to be disconnected at location 1. Remove all lines that route from this connection to the radiator tanks. Refer to Image1.6.1 and Image1.6.2.

On the expansion tank, plug the original couplings using 5M6213 PLUG (2). Weld two 3B-6488 COUPLING-PIPE (3) 90mm (3.5 inches) below existing couplings in the locations shown below. Refer to Image1.7.1 and Image1.7.2.
Preform expansion tank pressure test. After all fittings are welded, plug all ports and pressure test tank to 5 psi (34 kPa). Expansion tank must hold pressure for 10 minutes without reduction.
Reinstall expansion tank onto radiator.

Install new TUBE (4) from original connection point (5) to tank connection point(6). Bend TUBE for proper routing and install UNIONS and ADAPTERS. Create a new opening (7) for TUBE routing. Refer to Image1.8.1, Image1.8.2, Image1.8.3 and Image1.8.4.

Install 166-6126 HOSE-COOLANT (8) between tanks at locations 9 and 10. Install 0026453 ADAPTER-ELBOW at location 9. Note that other hardware shown should have been removed previously. Install 2R-8613 ADAPTER-HOSE into 0026453 ADAPTER-ELBOW at location 9. Install 2R-8613 ADAPTER-HOSE at location 10. Connect 166-6126 HOSE-COOLANT using 5D-1026 CLAMP-HOSE. Create a new opening (11) for HOSE routing. Route hose along existing anchor points and secure with wire ties. Refer to Image1.9.1, Image1.9.2, Image1.9.3 and Image1.9.4

Reassemble radiator assembly and reinstall in container. Connect all container lines/hoses/wiring from container. Refill radiator assembly with coolant that was previously drained. Check for any leaks. Run package and check for proper operation.
