Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Lubricate all O-ring seals with Tooling (A) prior to assembly of the aftercooler.

Install O-ring seal (12) on aftercooler (3) .
Carefully install aftercooler core (11) in aftercooler (3) .

Install O-ring seals (9) and (10) on bonnet (7) .

Position bonnet (7) on the aftercooler. Install bolts (8) .

Install O-ring seal (4) on bonnet (2) .
Install zinc rod (5) in bonnet (2) .
Position bonnet (2) on the aftercooler. Align dowel (6) with the hole in the aftercooler core and with the hole in the aftercooler.

Install bolts (1) that fasten bonnet (2) to aftercooler (3) .End By: Install the aftercooler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Aftercooler - Install".
