Information:

Engine Start Interlock
The shift handle controls the start relay and the shift handle controls the neutral start relay in order to provide the function for the engine start interlock. The neutral start relay will energize the start relay when the key switch is in the start position and the shift lever is in the neutral position. Overspeed Control
The following items are functions of the Overspeed Control Valve:
Slow Mode
Fast Mode
Overspeed FunctionIn Slow Mode, when the speed switch is closed to ground, the control will set the output current for a control pressure of 300 kPa. The motor displacement control is turned off.In Fast Mode, when the speed switch is open, the control will set the output current. The setting is based on the motor speed. The motor will be at the maximum displacement position. This function is for motor speeds of less than 500 rpm.
Table 1
Mode (1) (2)     Creeper Switch     Speed Switch
Slow     O     X
Slow     X     O
Slow     X     X
Fast     O     O
( 1 ) X=The switch is closed to ground.
( 2 ) O=The switch is open.In overspeed condition, the control will limit the travel motor speed. The overspeed conditions follow:
Limit the motor speed to 5750 rpm.
THE maximum overshoot on motor speed is 6000 rpm.
The maximum engine overspeed is 3600 rpm.Ride Control
The ride control functions use the following components:
Drive shaft speed sensor
Ride control switch
Hydrostatic control
Ride control relayThe ride control is an optional feature that is controlled by the option code input. This feature is enabled when the operator places the ride control switch in the ON or in the AUTO position. In the ON, the ride control is always activated. The control energizes the ride control relay continuously. In the AUTO position, the ride control is activated or the ride control is deactivated. When the drive shaft speed increases above 650 rpm (6 mph), the ride control is activated. When the drive shaft speed decreases below 585 rpm (5.25 mph), the ride control is deactivated. As the ride control is activated and deactivated, the ride control solenoid is energized and de-energized by the ride control relay.Direction Control
The direction control uses the following components:
Parking brake switch
Parking brake relay
Direction lever
Hydrostatic control
Forward solenoid
Reverse solenoid
Reverse motor relay
Ground interrupt relayThe control module reads the position of the direction lever. This action determines the direction. The appropriate direction is then activated. Standard machines also have a reverse motor relay. When the parking brake is applied, the control places the machine in neutral. The direction lever must be returned to the neutral position after the parking brake is released. This action allows a direction to be selected. If the machine speed is too high the control shifts the transmission to neutral. When the machine speed is reduced, the control activates the direction control valve.Secondary Steering
The secondary steering capability uses the following components:
Primary steering flow switch
Drive shaft speed sensor
Engine speed sensor
Hydrostatic control
Primary steering flow indicator and alarm
Secondary
