Procedure To Check And Level The Cutting Edge On 613 and 613C Wheel Tractor-Scrapers
Make sure that the pressures for the tires are equal.
Park the tractor-scraper on a level surface.
With the movable floor in the forward locked position, raise the cutting edge approximately 101 mm (3.98 inch) to 127 mm (5 inch) from the level surface.
Measure the distance from each end of the cutting edge to the level surface. To be acceptable, the two measurements must be within 6.4 mm (0.25 inch) of each other. If the measurement is not acceptable, record the measured difference and complete the procedure.
Lower the cutting edge onto a solid surface.
If using a hoist to remove the wheel and the machine is equipped with fenders, the fenders must be removed first.
Loosen the lug nuts on the left scraper wheel.
