Description of Change: A new mirror group is now used on the machines listed above. The new mirror group has improved mounting and adjustment capabilities. For a complete list of material and the correct procedure that is needed in order to install the new mirror group, refer to Special Instruction, REHS4285, "Procedure to Install an Improved Mirror Group on Certain G-Series Wheel Tractor-Scrapers". The Special Instruction can be found on the Caterpillar Service Information System (SIS) and through the normal literature distribution system at your local Cat dealer. Adaptable To: The 423-9838 Rear View Mirror Gp replaces the former 291-4793 Rear View Mirror Gp The new mirror group is adaptable to the following machines:
