Vital Information Management System (VIMS) operates on a variety of different machines. Some of the following electrical components may not be installed on every machine. onboard flash software provides the VIMS electronic control module with the following information: type of machine and installed onboard components. Refer to the Electrical System Schematic in the machine Service Manual for component locations. The Electrical System Schematic may be used to verify the components that are used by the VIMS. Hardware This manual describes the version 4.0 of VIMS hardware. The 10.0X or later class of onboard software must be used with version 4.0 module to gain all benefits and features.
