Rear Frame Assembly(1) Bearing.(2) 117-9369 Bracket. Procedure To Install New 158-5633 Pin Assembly And Additional Hardware Into The 117-9369 Bracket Assembly
1. Remove the existing pin assembly from the steering cylinder. See the Reference for disassembly and assembly procedures.2. Before assembling the parts to the pin, place the proper amount of 4C-4030 Thread Lock to 8T-4908 Bolt (4). Install the new 158-5633 Pin Assembly.3. 139-1994 Spacer (6) is 3 mm (.12 in) thick. Measure the length of the pin that is extending beyond the bottom of the bracket. Utilize the proper number of washers to maintain a maximum gap between 139-1994 Spacer (6) and the bottom of 117-9369 Bracket Assembly (2) of 3 mm (.12 in) or less.4. Temporarily place 9R-8760 Plate (3) on the bottom of 158-5633 Pin Assembly. Measure the distance between the plate and the bottom of 117-9369 Bracket Assembly (2). See the chart below to determine the number of 139-1994 Spacers (6) needed.
