the Product Link PL102C module is replaced, ensure that replacement is absolutely necessary. The PL102C module is seldom the cause of a fault. Always check that power is available to the PL102C module. Battery voltage is required between wire 170 - RD and wire 229 - BK of the PL102C wiring harness. Continue ONLY if all other attempts to isolate the problem have failed.
When possible, first, in order to take thePL102C out of service and deactivate the Product Link PL102C, select the "Deregistration" option from the "PLM Commands" menu.Note: The deregistering procedure removes the Product Link PL102C unit for the machine from active status with Equipment Manager.
Turn the disconnect switch and the key start switch to the OFF position. Remove the Molex connectors and antennas cables from the Product Link PL102C module.Note: Do not pull on the wires or cables in order to remove the connectors from the PL102C module.
Remove the Product Link.
Make sure that the replacement PL102C module is the correct part number.
Push the Molex connectors into position on to the Product Link PL102C module. Attach the antenna cables to the PL102C module.
Install the replacement Product Link.
Follow the instructions for configuring and registering the new Product Link PL102C module.
