1. Check the condition of all O-ring seals used in the transmission oil filter. If any seals are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.2. Install the O-ring seal on plug (8) and install the plug in filter base (2).3. Install spring (10), spool (11), O-ring seal (12) and plug (13) in the filter base. 4. Install the O-ring seal and plug (7) in the bottom of the filter housing.5. Put spring (6) and retainer (5) in position in the filter housing. Compress the spring with the retainer and install retaining ring (4). 6. Put filter element (3) in the filter housing. 7. Install the O-ring seal in the filter base.
