Four new pistons are used in the 3400 Family Of Engines. The new 7E8885 Piston has a 15.6:1 compression ratio, while the new 7E0539 Piston has a 15.2:1 compression ratio. Both pistons use a 12.0 mm (.47") low crevice volume (LCV) design which provide improved emissions and performance. See Illustration 1.
