Install seal on window. The seal should be oriented with the weep holes (circled) on the exterior side of the window and towards the lower corners.
Start by assembling the seal from the bottom straight edge of the window.
Insert the window into the wider/bigger slot in the seal.
Ensure the notched portion of the locking strip points to the inner (cab interior) side of the window.
Image1.5.1
An illustration of the seal installed on the window is shown below. Note the location of weep holes in bottom corner. The seal will not conform to the curved window section on the left side. This is normal.

Lubricating the frame, window, and seal will ease installation. Use a mixture of soap and water (approximately 1:6 ratio) that will dry without leaving a slippery residue. Spray this mixture onto the window seal.
Place window against door frame and secure.
Image1.8.1
Using the curved 'pick' tool, work the seal around the perimeter of the door frame. Start from the bottom straight edge and work outwards toward either side. Be sure the seal is completely engaging both the frame and window.

Remove door from fixture and secure to table. Be sure to use protection in the window area to prevent scratches.
Image1.10.1
Spray the soapy water mixture into locking strip slot. This will ease the insertion of the locking strip.

Thread locking strip through tool as shown.
Image1.12.1
Insert the locking strip into the notch in the gasket starting at the bottom center (lower straight section) of the door. Continue applying strip all around by applying pressure on the tool and strip while moving forward. Apply the pressure downward and be careful not to stretch the locking strip - ideal installation would not have any tension on the locking strip. Excessive tension will cause the locking strip to separate from the gasket in the corners.
Image1.13.1
Once you have the locking strip in place, trim the excess material and push the trimmed end into the locking strip notch in the gasket. The trimmed amount of locking strip should not exceed two to three inches; significant excess may indicate that the locking strip was installed with too much tension (stretch).

Items securing the door to the table may be removed at this time.
Put the ring into the V-bracket. This is the ring the operator will pull to release the locking strip to ease the release of the window from the frame.
Pry out a small portion of the locking strip from the top center section of the door. Assemble the V-bracket into the locking strip as shown below.
Press the raised section of the locking strip (where V-bracket is) back into the groove.

Remove backing strip off decal and assemble to ring.

This completes the locking strip and window installation.
Reassemble the door back onto the machine being sure to reinstall the inner plastic cover and wiper.
