The vent line for the fuel tank may have been dislodged from the connector on the fuel fill splash guard during installation of the hydraulic tank in the assembly process.Solution

Correct assembly of the vent line (A) 5P-1442 Hose (B) 252-0368 Guard As
Inspect hose (A) for correct assembly to guard (B). See Illustration 1 and Illustration 2.
If necessary, reseat hose (A) on the connector on guard (B). See Illustration 2.

(A) 5P-1442 Hose (B) 252-0368 Guard As (C) 5P-4961 Hose Clamp Note: As an option, install a 5P-4961 Hose Clamp (C) in order to further secure hose (A) to guard (B). Tighten the hose clamp to a torque of 4.5 0.5 N m (3.3 0.4 lb ft). See Illustration 3.
