Introduction
Do not perform any procedure that is outlined in this Special Instruction until the entire instruction has been read and understood.This Special Instruction provides the procedure in order to install the new coolant lines.Required Parts

(1) 434-7484 Tube As
Remove tube assembly (1). Set aside the brackets and hardware for reuse.
Discard the grommet.
Remove the 6V-9851 Elbow from the exhaust bypass. Discard the elbow.
Remove the two original O-ring seals.

(2) 100-3237 Grommet (3) 444-2619 Hose As (4) 180-8424 O-Ring Seal
Attach hose assembly (3) and one O-ring (4) to the 8C-6871 Connector on the exhaust bypass.
Attach hose assembly (3) and one O-ring (4) to the 3E-2333 Elbow .Note: Ensure that the hose assembly is not twisted or kinked.
Secure hose assembly (3) to the original bracket with one grommet (2) and the original hardware.Rework Procedure for the 456-6982 Hose and Tube As

Remove tube assembly (5). Set aside the brackets and hardware for reuse.
Remove the two original O-ring seals.

Attach hose and tube assembly (7) and one O-ring (4) to the 6V-9851 Elbow on the exhaust bypass.
Attach hose and tube assembly (7) and one O-ring (4) to the 6V-9837 Swivel Tee .
Secure hose assembly (7) to the engine with the original brackets and hardware.Note: Install hard washer (6) between both of the existing sets of 234-0216 Clamps . The washer must be installed, so the clamps do not crush the new hose and tube assembly.
