The .iqt file contains parameters and dynamic settings. These settings are configured from the display. This type of file can be sent to the IQAN-MG module with IQANtalk. This type of file can also be retrieved from the IQAN-MG module with IQANtalk.If an .iqt file already exists on the hard disk, the existing file is renamed with the extension .iq%. This makes the files easier for the user to find the latest saved version if an error occurs.An .iqa file contains the customized application software that is developed for your machine and an .iqt file. An .iqt file can be sent to the IQAN-MG module from IQANtalk, but no other way. Send the .iqa file to the IQAN-MG module when you first install an IQAN system or when you update the program. The old .iqa file is replaced by the new file.Use the block diagram to select a set of channels to measure. If you display the measurements in a graph you can select the color and thickness of the lines in the graph. You can save a set of channels and settings in order to take an identical measurement later. These measurement settings receive .iqm as the extension. These files are not stored in the IQAN-MG module, but on your PC.Files with an .iql extension contain an .iqt file and a log file that is created when you save the measurements in a graph form. 20 measured values are logged per second for every channel that is measured. All of the measured values are saved in the .iql file. The time of the measurement that is entered in the "Comment" window in the "Graph" menu are also saved in the log file.If you measure 10 channels (the maximum number) at a frequency of 20 hertz (the maximum frequency), about 47 kB are stored per minute (about 2.7 MB/hour).
