Information:


At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. Remove the fill cap on the hydraulic oil tank only when the engine is stopped and the fill cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.
2. Drain the hydraulic oil from the hydraulic tank. The capacity if the hydraulic oil tank is 90 liters (24 U.S. gal). 3. Disconnect hose assembly (2) from the propel pump. Cap and plug immediately.4. Disconnect hose assemblies (1) from steering pump (4). Cap and plug immediately.5. Remove two bolts (3), and remove steering pump (4) and the O-ring seal from the propel pump. Check the O-ring seal for damage and replace if necessary. For installation of the steering pump, reverse the removal steps. After the steering pump has been installed, fill the hydraulic oil tank to the correct level. See the Operation & Maintenance Manual for the correct procedure.Disassemble & Assemble Steering Pump
Start By:a. remove steering pump 1. Remove four bolts (2), and remove end cover (1) from the housing.
Personal injury can result from parts and/or covers under spring pressure. Spring force will be released when covers are removed. Be prepared to hold spring loaded covers as the bolts are loosened.
2. Remove nut (6), adjuster (5), spring (4) and poppet (3) from end cover (1). Remove O-ring seal (7) from adjuster (5). Check the O-ring seals for wear or damage and replace if necessary.3. If necessary, remove the two dowels from end cover (1). 4. Remove bushing (11), drive gear (10) and driven gear (12) from housing (8).5. Remove O-ring seal (9) from housing (8). Check the O-ring seals for wear or damage and replace if necessary. 6. Remove back-up seal (13) and seal (14) from bushing (11). 7. Remove bushing (17) from housing (8). Remove the back-up seal and seal from bushing (17).8. Remove O-ring seal (18) from housing (8). Check the O-ring seal for wear or damage and replace if necessary.9. If necessary, remove two dowels (16) from flange (15). 10. Remove lip-type seal (19) from flange (15). For assembly of the steering pump, reverse the disassembly steps.End by:a. install steering pump
