The water pump is capable of producing 190 L/min to 1150 L/min (50 US gpm to 304 US gpm).Inlet passage (1) is located on the right side of the machine. A three inch hose connects the distributor truck to the pump. The water spray pump consists of a gear-driven hydraulic motor. The drive shaft connects the hydraulic motor to the pump in an enclosed case. The bearings are lubricated by oil inside the case. The bearings are lubricated by oil inside the case. A sight glass that is located on the side of the case indicates the oil level. Grease reservoir (10) consists of seals that prevent water leaks at the input shaft. The seals should be greased daily.Water is driven into the pump by impeller (12) through inlet passage (1). Impeller (12) spins the liquid. This causes impeller (12) to flow out of outlet passage (9) with centrifugal force. Shaft (13) is driven by the hydraulic subsystem. Check valve (8) is placed in the inlet in order to keep water in the pump when the pump is not active.Note: The correct direction of pump rotation is indicated by an arrow on the pump body or decals. Operation of the pump in the wrong direction may force the impeller to come loose from the shaft. This can damage the pump.
