Assembly Procedure
Inspect all parts and clean all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.
Inspect all seals. Damaged seals must be replaced. Use new Caterpillar seals for replacement.

Install retaining ring (27), bearing (26) and retaining ring (25). Install shaft (24). Install retaining ring (23), seal (22) and retaining ring (21) .

Install O-ring (20) .

Install swashplate (19) .

Note: The notched washer (15) is located between spring (17) and retaining ring (16) .
Install washer (18), spring (17) and notched washer (15) .

Put cylinder block (11) in a press. Install a suitable drive plate on notched washer (15) and compress spring (17) until retaining ring (16) can be installed.

Install retainer (14), three pins (13) and retainer guide (12) .

Install seven pistons (9) according to the original location in the slipper guide (10) and cylinder block (11). The seven pistons must move freely in the cylinder block.

Lay housing (3) on the side and install rotary group (8) .

Use a press to install needle bearing (7). Install locating pin (6) and gasket (5) .

Install valve plate (4) .

Connect housings (2) and (3) .

Install four bolts (1) .End By: Install the piston (auger conveyor). Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Motor (Auger Conveyor) - Install".
