Pressurized system: Hot coolant can cause serious burn. To open cap, stop engine, wait until radiator is cool. Then loosen cap slowly to relieve the pressure.

Open the engine hood. The coolant recovery tank is mounted on the top of the engine directly in front of the cab.
Maintain the coolant at level (1) .Note: Allow the engine to cool before checking the coolant level.

If the cooling system is low, remove cooling system pressure cap (2) slowly in order to relieve any pressure. Add the required coolant in order to maintain the coolant level.Note: Be sure to add the same coolant that is currently in the cooling system.Note: Inspect the machine for coolant leaks if it is necessary to add coolant on a daily basis.
Inspect the cooling system pressure cap and inspect the seal for debris or for damage. Clean the cooling system pressure cap with a clean cloth. Replace the pressure cap if the pressure cap is damaged.
Install the cooling system pressure cap.
