Left Side of Machine (1) Shift solenoidShift solenoid (1) is mounted to the inside face of the left machine frame. The operator platform can be lifted in order to allow access to this component.Shift solenoid (1) is controlled by the shift switch. When the shift switch is moved to the HIGH SPEED position, power is transferred from contact "3" of the switch to the coil of the shift solenoid.When shift solenoid (1) is de-energized, the axle motor and the drum motor operate in the low speed range. When the shift solenoid is energized, charge oil is directed to the shift spools in the drum motor and the axle motor. In this case, the motors operate in the high speed range.
