1. Inspect area (A) for any evidence of cracking.2. Remove any material in order to completely remove the crack. Use dye penetrant to ensure that all crack is removed. Grind to prepare the surface for welding.3. Use Ni Rod to replace the weld removed. (Ni Rod will help to remove excess carbon that may exist in the adapter.) 4. 3/8 Toe grind all around weld with a 10 mm dia ( inch) minimum spherical grinding tool as shown to a minimum dimension (B) of 0.8 mm (.03 inch) and a maximum dimension of 3.0 mm (.12 inch). No visible weld discontinuities are permitted after grinding.
