Stopping Procedure for the EMCP3 Control Panel

Open the circuit breaker and remove the load from the generator.
When possible, allow the engine to operate without load for 3 minutes, in order to cool the engine. Then press the stop key (6).
The engine will stop and the lamp below the stop key will be illuminated. Note: The engine can have the ability to auto start. Ensure that the power supply is isolated before any service or repair is performed.

Open the circuit breaker and remove the load from the generator.
When possible, allow the engine to operate without load for 3 minutes, in order to cool the engine. Note: Pressing the stop key bypasses the cooldown period.
Press and release the "Stop" key (19).
The LCD display will indicate "STOPPING". Note: If the engine fails to stop running, the LCD display will indicate "STOP FAILURE". The alarm will sound.
Once the engine has stopped, the LCD display will indicate "STOPPED". Note: The engine can have the ability to auto start. Ensure that the power supply is isolated before any service or repair is performed.
Turn the isolator keyswitch (10) to the OFF position.
